We never keep your photo, what you wrote, or the advice you got back. What we hold is an account and the bare fact that a check happened. Here is all of it.

Who we are
You Ready? is the app you are using, and we are the people who run it.
If you want to ask us anything in here, write to osakaskylinestudios@gmail.com. A person answers.
You have to be 18
We ask at the start, and we record that you said yes and when. That record is the only reason the app will run at all — the check is refused without it.
We do not knowingly hold anything belonging to anyone under 18. If you think we do, write to us and it will be deleted.
What we hold
- Your email address, if you have given us one. Signing in with Apple or Google hands us the address on that account and nothing else — no name, no photo, no contacts.
- An account number, which means nothing outside our own system.
- That you confirmed you are 18 or over, and when.
- A one-way code for your phone. Your phone invents a random number the first time you open the app and keeps it to itself; what reaches us is a scrambled version that cannot be turned back into it. It tells us "the same phone again" and nothing more. It is not your advertising identifier, not your phone number, and cannot be matched against anything outside our system.
- The bare fact that a check happened: when, how long it took, what it cost us to run, and which phone it came from. Never what was in it.
- Whether you are subscribed. Apple or Google take the payment and tell us the answer; we never see your card.
That is the list. There is nothing underneath it.
What we never hold
- Your photo. It is held for the length of one request and then it is gone. It is never written to a disk, never put in a backup, and never looked at afterwards.
- What you typed about where you are going.
- The advice you got back.
- How you said you were feeling. That one never leaves your phone at all.
We are careful about the wording, because it matters: your photo does leave your phone. It has to, or nothing could look at it. What we promise is that it is not kept when it gets there — not that it never travels. Anyone who tells you a photo never leaves your phone while an AI looks at it is telling you something untrue.
Your checks live on your phone and nowhere else. Change phones and they do not come with you. We could not send them to you if you asked, because we do not have them.
Who else sees any of it
- Google. Your photo and your words go to Google's Gemini model, which is what actually writes the advice. We pay for the tier on which Google does not use what we send to train or improve its products. What Google does on its own side is governed by its terms, not ours.
- Supabase, which hosts our database, in the United States.
- Brevo, which sends the email carrying your sign-in code. It sees your address and nothing else.
- Apple and Google, if you subscribe. They take the money.
We do not sell your information and we do not share it for advertising. There is no advertising in this app, and nothing in it is tracking you for anybody.
If you are in Canada
Our database is in the United States and so is the model that writes the advice. Your information crosses the border and is subject to US law while it is there.
We are saying so plainly because you are entitled to know that before you decide, not after.
We are not doing face recognition
We do not build a faceprint. We do not measure your face, do not make a template of it, do not try to work out who you are, and do not compare you against any other photograph or any database.
The model looks at one picture, says something about the clothes, and the picture is gone.
Deleting everything
In Settings, "Delete account" removes your account, your email address, your sign-in identities and your subscription record from our systems, and wipes every check and every photo on your phone. It cannot be undone.
One thing stays, and we would rather tell you than have you find it out. The record that a particular phone has used its three free checks survives: a scrambled phone code, a date, and how long the check took. Your account is gone from it — it belongs to a handset and to nobody.
We keep it for one reason. Without it, "delete account" would be a one-tap way to start the free checks over, and over, forever. If you would rather it went too, write to us and we will remove it.
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel that in the App Store or Google Play, or you will keep being charged for something you can no longer use.
What you can ask us for
Wherever you live, you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it.
Deletion is a button in the app. Everything else is an email to osakaskylinestudios@gmail.com and we will answer within 30 days. You will never be charged for asking, and we will never treat you differently for having asked.
If you are in California: we do not sell or share personal information, as the CCPA uses those words.
This is not medical advice
The app is not a doctor, not a therapist and not a crisis service.
If what you write suggests you are having a genuinely hard time, the app will stop talking about clothes and point you at people who can actually help. It does not charge you for that, and it never will.
If this changes
We will change the date at the top, and if the change actually matters we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
We will not quietly widen what we collect.
