It looks at one photo and tells you what to change. It is an opinion from an AI, it is sometimes wrong, and you should check it in the mirror. Using the app means agreeing to what follows.

What this is

You Ready? looks at one photo and tells you what to change before you walk out the door.

What it says is an opinion produced by a machine. It is sometimes wrong. Nothing it says is a fact about you, and nothing it says is something you have to do.

Using the app means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use it.

You have to be 18

This is an app for adults. We ask, and the answer is recorded and enforced — not as a screen you can walk past, but as something the server checks before it will run anything.

What it is not

It is not medical or psychiatric advice, not a diagnosis, not therapy, and not a crisis service. It is not a substitute for a doctor or for anyone else qualified.

If you are in danger, contact your local emergency number.

Photographs, and whose they are

Photograph yourself, or somebody who has agreed to it. Never a child. Never anyone who has not agreed. Nothing sexual and nothing illegal.

Everything you send stays yours. You give us permission to do exactly one thing with it: pass it to the model, for the length of one request, so that it can answer. That permission ends when the answer does.

We do not use your photographs to train anything, and we could not if we wanted to, because we do not keep them.

The free checks

You get three. They belong to your account and to your phone together.

Installing the app again does not give you more, and neither does deleting your account. That is deliberate, and the privacy policy explains exactly what we keep in order to make it work.

If you subscribe

• The price and the length of the subscription are shown in the app, in your own currency, before you agree to anything.
• It renews by itself at the end of each period unless you turn renewal off at least 24 hours before that period ends.
• Apple or Google take the payment, not us. Manage it or cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account — we cannot cancel it for you.
• If we put the price up, yours stays where it is for as long as your subscription runs without a break.
• Refunds are Apple's and Google's to give, under their rules, not ours.
• Deleting your account does not cancel the subscription. Cancel it in the store as well.

What you must not do with it

• Upload photographs of people who have not agreed to it, or of anyone under 18.
• Resell the app or the answers it gives.
• Take it apart, scrape it, or use it to build or train a competing product.
• Work around the free allowance, or use the app in a way meant to cost us money rather than to get dressed.

When we can stop

We may suspend or close an account being used against these terms. We will tell you why, unless we are not permitted to.

You can stop at any time by deleting your account in Settings.

What we do not promise

The app is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will always be available, always be right, or be suitable for any particular occasion. It is an opinion about clothes.

So far as the law allows, we are not responsible for what follows from using it, beyond the amount you have actually paid us in the twelve months before. Some places do not allow a limit like that — if you live somewhere that does not, it does not apply to you, and nothing here takes away a right you have by law.

About Apple

These terms are between you and us. Apple is not a party to them.

Apple has no obligation to provide any support for the app. If the app fails to meet any warranty that applies, you may tell Apple, and Apple may refund what you paid for it; beyond that refund, Apple has no other obligation to you in respect of the app.

Apple and its subsidiaries may enforce these terms against you as a third-party beneficiary of them.

If these change

We will change the date at the top, and if the change actually matters we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the law of Japan. Nothing here takes away a right you have under the law of the country you live in.
